Ovide van der Vlist
is een Nederlandse actrice, geboren en getogen in Amsterdam, nu gevestigd in New York. Ze ontdekte haar passie voor theater op jonge leeftijd via de Amsterdamse Jeugd Theaterschool. Ovide wilde haar talent verder ontwikkelen en kwam tijdens haar zoektocht naar een professionele opleiding uit bij The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, waar ze tussen 2021 en 2023 studeerde.
Dankzij een JOOP VAN DEN ENDE-beurs, toegekend na een beoordeling door acteurs Jacob Derwig en regisseur Nina Spijkers, kon Ovide van der Vlist in 2023 haar opleiding aan The American Academy of Dramatic Arts voortzetten. Ze werd geselecteerd voor het exclusieve Third Year Company Program, een programma waarin slechts een beperkt aantal studenten wordt toegelaten
In 2024 werd ze gecast door Emmy Award-winnaar Blanche Baker voor de rol van Emily in de speelfilm Girl in a Glass Box.
